Rebecca Nekesa is a young energetic woman passionate about matters Sexual reproductive health and rights. She is a graduate of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology having pursued a bachelorʼs degree of education. She is a student of Kenya Sign Language that will enable her in future to be able to reach young people with hearing impairment.
Rebecca has volunteered with various organizations such as Family Health Options Kenya, USAID, AMREF under Y-ACT, and Paint A Smile Development Organization (PASDO) where she underwent different trainings such as Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights advocacy, HIV/ AIDS, facilitation skills and empowerment which ensures young people sustain themselves socially and economically.
Rebecca is enthusiastic about Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights work so as to ensure youth have power and voice to hold leaders accountable; champion for the change desired by the youth and occupy the youth space at decision making forums to meaningfully advocate for their issues.
