Wilter is a dynamic and socially motivated individual with over 7 yearsʼ experience working directly with the community and non-governmental organizations in Kenya. She believes in the power of girls and women globally. Wilter is passionate about working with and for marginalized adolescent girls, young women and youths.
Through her advocacy work, she ensures that adolescents and young women are able to access affordable and quality information and services including relevant opportunities that expose them to spaces of development agenda and decision making. She achieves this through intensive and responsive initiatives that are girls and women centered designed along comprehensive sexuality education, community sensitization, creating safe spaces in the community where adolescent girls and young women can meet discuss and learn on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights issues, life skills including transformational leadership strategies.
From 2010, up to date Wilter is a Global Leader by We Are Family Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Nairobi and a Diploma in Social Work and Social Development. Wilter is currently pursuing her Masterʼs Degree on Public Policy and public Management.
